Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz chicken sausage
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup uncooked orzo
  • 2.33 cups chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Slice the chicken sausage into half moons.
  • To a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the sausage and brown on each side for about two minutes, or until it is a nice golden brown.
  • Add the minced garlic and broccoli. Stir and let cook together for a few minutes. Add the orzo and broth and stir well, scraping the flavorful bits off the bottom of the pan.
  • Turn the heat to low and let simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for 10-12 minutes, or until the orzo is tender. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and let melt. Serve and enjoy!
