Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas 19 oz, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375F (190C) or your air-fryer to 350F (180C).
  • Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally.
  • Remove the chickpeas and mix them with olive oil, chili powder, thyme, and salt. Toss well.
  • Return the seasoned chickpeas to the baking sheet and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Alternatively, return chickpeas to the air-fryer and cook for another 8 - 12 minutes until crispy.

Notes

Store in an air-tight container in the fridge for about a week. For an oil-free option, substitute oil with aquafaba, vegetable broth, or water.
