Sweet Hawaiian Rolls

  • 1 package Sweet Hawaiian Rolls 12 to 24 rolls
  • ¾ cup half and half
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • powdered sugar for serving
  • maple syrup for serving
  • berries optional
  • whipped cream optional

Cooking Instructions

  • Combine half and half, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a bowl. Whisk until smooth.
  • Heat a large pan over medium-low heat and add some butter.
  • Dip each Hawaiian Roll in the custard and place on the pan. Don't crowd the pan.
  • Cook for about 2 minutes, then turn each roll over until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with maple syrup. Optionally serve with berries and whipped cream.
